Dr. Ron Lykins has advised literally tens of thousands of clients on tax and personal finance matters over the past 52 years – including staying abreast of tax law changes for 10 U.S. administrations and the PPP funding of the COVID-19 pandemic. His firm, Ron Lykins CPAs, is one of the premier tax practices in Central Ohio with 1,500 clients in 46 states and several foreign countries, 18 staff members, five CPAs, and eight enrolled agents..

Perhaps one of his greatest professional accomplishments is when he took the IRS to U.S. Tax Court twice and won. More than thirteen years, thousands of hours of research and 14 volumes of documentation later, the IRS yielded and refunded him $55,615.

Even while managing a thriving business, Ron still finds time to teach and has taught Accounting and Finance at Ohio University, Ohio Wesleyan University, Capital University and The Ohio State University.

Ron was a member of the Board of Trustees at Central College Presbyterian Church and served as the vice president of finance for Westerville Civic Symphony for over twenty years. He is an avid supporter of the arts, particularly the theater programs of Otterbein University and Westerville High Schools.

Ron loves spending time with his family and was married to the late Ruth Lykins for over 46 years with whom he raised three children - Kurt, Kristi and Lisa. He is blessed with nine grandchildren. His hobbies include tennis, reading, gardening, and, most of all, his grandchildren and travel.
